Posh Cat Boarding

Posh Pooch is excited to now be offering cat boarding!!

Our cat room comes fully equipped with a social area as well as private large hotel rooms.

All cats will be given the opportunity daily to come out of their rooms for some exploring and social time (with the owner's permission). Our social area includes places for the kitties to climb, sleep, hide, scratch, and play (see pictures below). We have an electric fireplace with a nice fur rug for the cats to curl up in front of. We have large windows for them to watch the surrounding wildlife. A water fountain is also located in this area to encourage sufficient water consumption (as we all know how much they enjoy drinking running water).

Our hotel rooms are 8 feet tall and 2.5 feet wide, with 4 different levels for the cats to climb through. If your kitty is too shy to come out into the social area, they will be more than comfortable in their large room where they can relax and observe the other cats.

**Requirements for our cat guests:

*All cats are required to be spayed or neutered if older than 6 months. *Must be up to date on the Rabies and FRCP vaccines. *Must be given a flea/lice treatment before they arrive. *Must be brought in and taken out of our facility in a cat carrier, to ensure their safety and ours. *An emergency contact must be provided for all stays- this person must be able to come pick the cat up in the case of an emergency. 

**Things we recommend you bring:

If your cat is super picky about the type of kitty litter it prefers, we suggest you bring in your own for them (we do provide litter but we know how fussy some cats can be). If your cat feels stressed and decides not to eat its regular food be prepared to offer a backup food to get them eating. We also recommend you bring your cats bed from home (or at least something that smells like home) to help them feel more comfortable in their new surroundings.

**Medications:

We are willing to administer medications at no extra charge, as long as your cat will allow us to do so. Unfortunately we are not comfortable giving any needles so if your cat is diabetic we recommend it board at a vet clinic where they can safely monitor insulin levels and administer their insulin shots properly.
